After receiving her BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design Lauren moved to Baltimore where, for nearly 20 years she has utilized her talents in a wide array of design concerns, most notably hospitality, private clubs and senior living. As Director of Design for Studio Partnership, Lauren is a strong conceptual thinker and focuses on providing clients with a comprehensive approach in the development and implementation of unique design solutions. When she’s not designing; Lauren enjoys travelling, teaching Barre classes and is working towards her Pilates certification.
Director of Design
Chad Flickinger, a certified interior designer, joined Studio Partnership in April 2014 to pursue work on hotel, hospitality and multi-family projects. Prior to this he enjoyed a 13-year career at The H. Chambers Company in Baltimore, MD focusing on the design of country and city clubs, healthcare and residential projects. Recent work includes Sheraton San Jose (Milpitas, CA), Gables (Columbia, MD), Hampton Inn & Suites (Goleta, CA), Long Cove Club (Hilton Head Island, SC), and Union League Club of Chicago (Chicago, IL). Chad received his BS in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH.
Kelli Nemer is a versatile interior designer and project manager who joined the Studio Partnership team in 2012. Kelli’s extensive experience includes hospitality and restaurant design, corporate, retail merchandising and high-end residential projects. Kelli received a BA in Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota.
Leanne joined Studio Partnership in 2011 after graduating from Virginia Tech with a BS in Interior Design. Her skills in Autocad, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites including Photoshop, Indesign and Acrobat have aided her on several noteworthy Hospitality projects such as: The Tremont in Baltimore MD, Crowne Plaza in Addison TX, The Courtyard and Residence Inn at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen MD, and The Delta in Baltimore, MD. Leanne also has experience in Tenant Fit outs working with Yogibo on several locations across the northeast.
Since graduating from High Point University with a BS in Interior Design in 2011, Chelsea has focused her knowledge of design in both the Hospitality and Senior Living fields. After starting at Studio Partnership soon after graduating, Chelsea took a brief hiatus from working at Studio Partnership and ventured into the Senior Living design while working at Bridget Bohacz + Associates in Glen Burnie, MD. However, Chelsea found that her love for Hospitality design and desire to work in an inspiring and energizing environment brought her back to Studio Partnership. Chelsea has strong skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Procurement and Communications.
Primarily serving clients in hospitality and corporate design, Mical’s past projects include the Embassy Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor (the Tremont Plaza) and the Hyatt House in Orlando, Florida. Before joining Studio Partnership, Mical worked on residential projects with Carey Lind Design in Baltimore and on model homes at Builders Design in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She received her BFA in Interior Design from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. In the fall of 2016, Mical passed the NCIDQ exam.
Jonna Armstrong came to Studio Partnership from RD Jones and Associates in Baltimore in 2004. She has utilized her incredible talent in scale, proportion and color in design development for projects at Studio Partnership. The L’Enfant Plaza and Waldorf Courtyard are only two of her award winning designs. Jonna received her second degree, BFA in Interior Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art 2000.
Mike is a CAD Manager for Studio Partnership with over thirty years’ experience in the construction industry. Nineteen of those years were at Ilex Woodworking where he was a lead cabinetmaker. He has received four craftsmanship awards for both commercial and residential millwork. His custom cabinetry and millwork for the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge, Maryland was featured in the trade magazine “Design Solutions”. Six years ago he transitioned from woodworking to CAD drafting, creating primarily detail drawings for several local cabinet shops.
Mike is a US Navy Veteran. He also attended MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) where he received a BFA in Photography.

Natalie received her BFA in Art + Design: Graphic Design at Towson University. While completing her degree, she also pursued opportunities and courses on business communications, entrepreneurship and community enrichment. A dynamic team member who primarily works with graphics and marketing, Natalie brings a unique perspective on interior design projects. Her previous experience includes work with Recorded Books, Blue Ocean Ideas, Towson University’s Office of Academic Instruction, and MomentuMedia. Outside the office, she can be found creating art and music, refinishing furniture, and selling the occasional craft on Etsy.
Graphic & Junior Designer
Before joining Studio Partnership in 2010, Laurie worked for The H. Chambers Company in Baltimore. She has over 15 years’ experience in administration, accounts payables and receivables, data entry and purchasing coordination. Laurie’s contributions to Studio Partnership include assisting Principal, Office Operations and Procurement. Laurie received her AA in Fashion Merchandising from Bauder College, Atlanta, GA.
Marcela Bender graduated with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) from CCBC with an AAS in Business Management in the Spring of 2017. She is part of the International Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa, where she served as Vice President of Communications and Public Relations from Fall 2015 to Spring 2016. Being bilingual in Spanish and English has giving her the opportunity to build relationships with people from different countries and to know different cultures and fashion styles. Marcela serves as a Design Assistant to Studio Partnership and Designer Kelli Nemer.
Nodji joined Studio Partnership in 2017 and has proven to be a valuable asset. Her background in marketing, product logistics, and event planning gives her a useful perspective as a designer. During her Interior Design studies, Nodji was a member of the winning team for 2016 MADE: In America - All American House at Carroll Mansion, Baltimore MD. The team won both the "Best in Use of Materials" and the overall "Best in Design" award for their living room design. Her program also received recognition from the Baltimore City Mayor. Nodji received her BS in Marketing from Rutgers University, NJ and certification in Interior Design at CCBC, MD.
